I could've sworn I've read a lot about testing for electrolytes while fasting. And that it is important to test for these in extended fasts as people can often become depleted. Are you saying people can't become depleted in minerals or seemingly anything fasting? Isn't that going a little bit far..? Isn't the fear of that the whole reason it is advised for people to fast under the care of a doctor?
And minerals don't exactly provide nutrition like food. Couldn't you just as easily say that water gives us nutrition?
Perhaps I will only do distilled water from now. But I'm not entirely convinced that it is optimal..
