Re: First day of 2nd fast I feel absolutely awful....

Hello snowflowr,
my children were raised on the principles of proper food combining, but my wife didn't convert until she wanted to lose some weight: she hadn't realized that by combining foods correctly at the same meal, she could eat almost with impunity, AND still lose weight. Sold.

People can be so ingrained with the current medical paradigm that alternatives come over as just pure hogwash, and only then if they have exhausted every other possible avenue of "treatment" that orthodoxy has to offer; that is until they witness first-hand the very real benefits that NH has to offer.

Many of Dr Sheltons seriously-ill patients had usually been the rounds of Allopathic medicine until they ultimately found themselves knocking at his door, and in some cases this was too late, but he sometimes got the blame (and was sued by ignorant family members) if they died, when they would have died anyway: and usually because of their previous and barbaric mode of treatment.

I'd be very surprised if you had a bowel movement during your fast, which would be very unusual; the bowels tend to shut-up-shop on a fast..............

It is nothing to be concerned about.

The elimination of toxins while fasting are thru the kidneys, Liver, Lungs and Skin, and by the body "burning" toxins and effluent materials as "fuel" for the sustenance of the more vital organs, thru a process known as "autolysis" via another process known as "ketosis". Nature knows what it is doing.
The body has an innate wisdom that most people are just unaware of.

If you are only drinking water according to thirst, and (if you are fairly toxemic) your urine will change color from very light yellow/white to dark brown (in my own case almost a black color); this is just one illustration of the visible effects of elimination. If however, you are drinking water to excess, then your urine will remain light and restrict that elimination, because your body is trying to cope with eliminating excess water: not a good idea.

Warm Regards

Chris
