Re: If i break the water fast with a juice fast will i still see the same results??
Hello again snowflowr,
Are 10 days sufficient time to cleanse your body?
I'm afraid the answer is highly unlikely. Even a protracted fast of 30 plus days has been known to not completely cleanse the body, requiring a second and subsequent fast to complete the job.
However, it is not all gloom and doom and where I think it is important to understand the following.......................
The body is always in a constant state of nutrition by introducing raw materials from the outside, processing them, and then eliminating the waste......24/7. This process can be made imperfect, where the drainage of those wastes can be inhibited by what Natural Hygiene refers to as "enervating habits", such as wrong food combinations and living habits that lower the vital force or nerve energy (such as insufficient sleep and rest, and other life-habits that drain the life-force of the body: this results in the retention of waste-material and what NH refers to as "Toxemia".
If those living habits are rectified by living in accord with the laws of our being, such as ample rest and sleep, sufficient exercise, fresh air, emotional poise, and proper food combining, and others, the body will play "catch-up" and eliminate those wastes, given sufficient time to do so. Water-fasting greatly accelerates this elimination process, and simultaneously allows the body to heal much more quickly as a result.
If you are unable to go beyond the 10 days of water-fasting that you have set yourself, this process of cleansing and healing can be continued with an elimination diet, and adhering to those life-habits that I have outlined above.
There are also many people on record who were unable to conceive, but after adopting an NH lifestyle, this became a reality..........to the immense joy of both partners.
