Re: First day of 2nd fast I feel absolutely awful....
Hello snowflowr,
you are very welcome.
"Strawberries banana's and apples with (spinach) and ice ohh it looked so good". Very healthy smoothie except for the spinach i'm afraid, which does not combine very well (if at all) with the fruit: best to not mix fruit and veg' at the same meal for the best and most efficient digestion.
I've been following an NH lifestyle for nigh-on 30 years (on & off, but more ON than off)....i'm not perfect, but have always strayed back to the fold. Deviating from NH gave me health issues such as lethargy, anxiety, mental-
Depression and brain fog, so have always returned to it.
NH gave me my life back (quite literally) from Leukemia, which I have posted about a number of times within this and other forums. This is my NH and fasting story.......

While living the NH lifestyle I haven't been sick at all, and I mean no colds, no viral infections, and absolutely free of any health issues except for the ones described above, and then only because of deviating for short periods of time.
NH gives me (and anyone else) virtually unlimited energy levels, a mental feel-good factor, very sound sleep, bright eyes, a clear and healthy complexion, with freedom from depression, which I had suffered from all of my life until I discovered NH at the age of 24.
That is very good news that you have a passion for Nutrition and a Holistic way of life: you can only benefit from it.
Natural Hygiene as formulated and REVIVED by Dr H M Shelton, is by far the ultimate in achieving a state of superhealth: your friends and neighbours will (in time) be astounded at your healthy appearance and boundless energy. Envious too I shouldn't wonder, because they will not be able to keep up with you: regardless of your age!!!!
Yes it would be nice to write a book on my experiences and knowledge of NH, but lack of time has always been a hindrance......too many other commitments, such as 3 children a wife (bless her) and a mortgage to keep the wolves from the door.
Such is life.
Thank you.
Chris
