I have used 3% H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) for about 20 years now as a mouth rinse. I consider it safe and effective. I do not think it will penetrate into infected root canals but it works well for gum diseases. Dilution for 3% is one part 35% H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) to eleven equal parts of pure water.
