One think I'd like to share is this. I've gotten quite down during Water Fasting simply because I use food on a daily basis to cheer myself up. I mean, I look forward to meals, snacks, variety and I love to cook, etc. Social gatherings also revolve so often aruond food as well, so even my friendships are affected. (eg. I'm on a short, 7 day fast now and an old friend invited me out for dinner and drinks tonight but I said no. I'll just have to wait, but it is a bit depressing.)
Alll that said though, every time I've succesfully finsished a fast I have *always* felt a 'new lease on life' kind our feeling, am more generally cheerful, appreciative, etc. I hope this helps and good luck. :)
