Yes, i agree. Bragg recommends doing several short fasts before even contemplating doing a longer fast. Start with 24-36 hrs, then progress 3or 4 days, then 7 to 10 and so on. I'm not happy that some people try to encourage people to do long fast straight off. Doesn't it make more sense, if people are very toxic to do a few days and then refeed well, and so on, to get rid of the toxins, making a longer fast easier in the future. Okay if you have a life threatening illness, yes, then you would fast until completion, but why suffer unnecessarily. Small stages/steps are better in my opinion.
I'm now convinced i have a magnesium deficiency, tense, stiff, aching muscles. I'm now wondering whether i should start my 5 day on, 10days refeed, 5 day fast, etc tomorrow now. Sometimes getter ones diet right is more important. More green drinks, but getting lazy using the juicer. I've heard mag taurate and mag citrate are the best absorbed forms if taking supplements, anyone got advice on this. I used to put the salts in the bath, but run out, not sure if best way though.
