Re: --Oxidant Molecule vs Anti-oxidant--

What do you think of the latest anti-oxidant, or so it seems, resveretrol? It's a red wine extract that supposedly prolongs life and it protects the life of the telemers. How do they know that? It seems every so often a new super potent anti-oxidant is discovered and they all cost a lot of money. They now want to make a drug that acts like resveretrol. Well, all anti-oxidants make me feel drowsy. Could that because they kill the oxygen? They take natural anti-oxidant substances found in minute amounts in plants and foods and then they concentrate them tremendously and put them in a pill or capsule. Your body was not meant to take in that much of alpha-lipoic acid, pyconogenol, seed extracts, and other anti-oxidants because you could not eat enough quantity of foods containing those high amounts.
