Funny you should say noodles and chicken. That is what i'm making hubby and son tonight. A stirfry. I am just trying to use up stuff i have left, vegetables etc so thought it a good idea.
I find the no protein with carb rule, so limiting. One day i will have to get to grips with food combining, but if other members of the family aren't interested, its one meal for them, and one for me.
Beans have protein, but are plant based, so can you still have them on toast or with rice etc. Yes, what about nuts, i'm thinking of nutroast with breadcrumbs or rice. Food combining is probably easier if you don't eat meat, fish or eggs, but i do. I will try to adhere to some of these rules as far as i can though.
