Re: refeeding & proteins

thanks chrisb1 & bling!

no chris, i was not concerned about suffering from a protein deficiency! i think there is a lot of fallacious information around about the amount of protein human beings require. i just wanted to ensure that i was getting some proteins in my diet post-fast to assist with my healing.

thanks chrisb1 for the detailed breakdown you provided - that is awesome information! however, some of these can't exactly be consumed raw (like lentils, sweet potato, eggs etc). if i introduce some cooked foods later in my refeeding - to one meal a day, maybe every other day - will this be okay?

ao i guess the coconut milk + raw vegie broth that i asked about in my first post would be okay then? i would obviously need to heat the coconut milk.

for protein i usually have tempeh and fetta cheese - are these okay? the tempeh is easily digestible - but i want to try and eat as much raw food as possible.

i used to always have whey protein shakes with lsa, almond milk and banana - i didn't mention this because aren't fruits meant to be eaten alone? i figured it was probably verboten! can i really have them? (they are so yum!) or do i have to have it without fruit? (boo!)

thanks again for all the information and suggestions - very much appreciated chrisb1 and bling!

- lulu
