Thanks for posting here; I try to look in regularly to keep people motivated to fast with juices. I have done it all... water, the MC, juices... and truly, juices are the healthiest approach, particularly to someone interested in weight loss because fat stores LOTS of toxins. It burns far too quickly on water, and even on the MC, loading the system with toxins faster than they can be eliminated, causing unnecessary crisis.
Also, there is no more supportive way to fast than juices. They will carry you to your goal, even over the long haul, while allowing you to function normally. This is also true to an extent of the MC, though far more so of juices.
The downside of juices is juicing. Yep, you have to shop, prep, purify and juice... every day! It's a lot of work! However, you can get it down to a routine and make it work, juicing a day's worth at a time, and the juice is its own reward.
I drank Granny Smith juice yesterday, renouned for its bile-blasting benefits... then flushed my liver last night, passing a bucketload of black sludge this morning! Very dirty flush; I will likely do another in about two weeks after breaking this ten day fast. Tomorrow I will go for a colonic, which will definitely be a good thing... then hopefully smooth sailing to day 10!
So... be seeing you! Best of luck on your cleanse. What diet/exercise program do you plan to follow post-fast to keep the weight off?
