It may be much better for your first morn pH to be above 6.8 pH than for it to be lower down below 6.0 pH!
"IF" the first morn pH is low, then this may mean that your body does not have enough Alkaline Reserves to overcome the Excess body Acids at night time when you are sleeping and thus are Breathing in Less Oxygen, which means that there is going to be a greater draw on your Alkaline Mineral Reserves!
And "IF" your Alkaline Mineral reserves are not great enough to Handle the excess Acids at nite time when you are asleep, without the extra Oxygen which you breath in during the day when you are Breathing Deeper, then your first morning pH may be Acidic!
This first morning pH of being more Acidic may be the normal in most people, but this is not how it should be as some want to claim it is to be!
