Re: Nearing the end of day 4WF
Hello redcherries,
breaking a fast on redcherries, redcherries,.......... would be nice!!!!!!
Joking aside, it was traditional to break a fast on any freshly juiced fruit in season, and contrary to popular belief, Oranges (although classified as an acid fruit) are alkaline-forming within the body, so shouldn't give you any problems.
What you do break your fast with, really depends on its length........the longer the fast, the more care in breaking it. After 14 days though I would say grapes would be ideal.
Raw vegetables after day 2 to 3 would probably be ok but it is more a question of quantity as well as quality; in other words do not overeat, building up slowly with the amounts of food over a 3 to 4 day period & beyond. Listening to your appetite is a good guideline.
