Good question, I don't know the answer.

DIM has tons of benefits. Michael Zeligs, MD is like the god of DIM.

I think you can write the dude who runs this site and he can provide the studies he references in this link:

I hate to disagree with citingsources, but there seem to be so many benefits to the cruciferous vegetables, like sulforaphane in addition to I3C, DIM, that I have doubts that their goitrogenic properties are that significant. I'd need to see the studies. Plus, you can betchyerass that they were conducted on iodine-deficient people, as have been most studies.
