Starting a one week water fast... Need advice!
Hi guys,
Well I'm starting a 7 day water fast, this is my first one. I've read A LOT about it, and I feel like it'd be good for me. 2 days ago I fasted for just the day, and I had quite a bit of energy. My purpose in this is to get healthy overall--of course I'm hoping to lose close to 10 pounds, or as much as possible in 7 days, and I also want to get to the point where after the fast is over, I won't be eating the things I was before and have the cravings I did, and eat less.
The last 3 weeks I've been eating organic, non processed foods and keeping up vitamins, and I've been exercising like CRAZY, non stop. I haven't weighed myself, I don't believe in scales. But in 3 weeks, I've lost 2
inches in my waist, and one
inch in my arms and legs each. I just need a little more, about 2
inches in my waist more before I leave for vacation the 11th! Soo...
What I'm wondering is what kind of weight loss is average for 7 days?
What should I expect?
Is it okay to take vitamins when water fasting?
What are the do's and dont's?
Any advice is really appreciated.
Oh yeah, I'm stronger than heck, my boyfriend's a US Marine, and I KNOW I can do this. He's kinda forced me into doing WHATEVER I set my mind to, lol.
