Miller time

Done. Now comes miller time, time to... wait. American "beer" is brewed with rice, that ain't beer. They went to rice a long time ago, because it was a cheaper source of starch for the malting process in which the starch is converted to sugars, which may be fermented and boiled with the natural preservative hops to provide a "beer". The first company that went to rice, was able to increase it's margins. Others soon followed suit, in order to be able to remain competitive , ie., in business.

I can't recall the last time I had a beer made in the US, other than my own home-brew. Made some excellent malt liquor in full compliance with the Rheinheitsgebot law of 1516. Y'all make beer too, right ?
