I only use sprout grade seeds for eating raw or cooked.If you wash them well with a vegiwash type product they should be fine to consume raw.But if you have any concerns then do as you feel is best for you and yours.Sprouting mung beans is easy but the seeds are cured on dirt roads so the seeds are very dirty even though they dont look like it!I rinse mine 3 times each time working the seeds until the water finally stays clean.I have pictures of my sprouts in the Image Gallery in the photos section under grassmans sprouts.Jeff.
