Re: Does anybody know?
Hi 83873:
Thank you for the inspiring post. I am happy the way I am. I don't only look good, but also feel more balanced in my mental outlook. I am not kidding you when I say I get asked by people everyday about my skin, my weight loss and my alertness. I can only tell them that I am what I eat. Fortunately I have a big following at work and we support each other. I do not have the same support from my wife. I must say after my daughter got sick(depression) and after I took some nutrition classes here in NYC my wife has started adding more salads and fruits to our diet. My son has been eating lot more raw salads than before. So you are right, it takes time and slowly they will change.
What burns me inside that my wife and son both eat sooooo much junk foods like icecream and cookies and chocolates, that is everyday. Also she feels that she does not need to be changing her diet because she does not get sick. I feel that she is definitely depressed as well. But we do not talk about it. As someone here on CZ told me, I have to be an example to them and not bug them. I thought that was great advice. So we do not discuss what we should eat and should not. Although when friends and family get together the subject comes up and I say what I need to say. One good thing has changed in house is my family does not drink sodas, may be once in four five months.
I have not been affected by any
food allergies so far. I do rotate my foods. One thing I have constant in my diet is nuts. I eat nuts almost everyday. Sometimes more than I should as I love nuts, very rarely I go without them.
The link I have attached may help you t learn about allergies. There are many websites if you google...allergies.. you will find them.

Once again thank you for inspiring me. I will keep posting here about my raw food experiences.
