THE KEY WORD HERE IS "GIVE", not sell, hoard, or keep as a secret till it can be distorted or tweaked just enough to be exploited for personal gain and profit... to retain power...

That is how knowledge is lost and distorted; lust, greed, power... that, along with victors writing history in order to show how righteous their cause was... sure.

History distortion...

Learn from your elders, especially if they are/were backwoods mountain or small family farm folk... they can teach you so very much, your brain will become overwhelmed; how they got by with WHAT they had... nothing more.

My mom and 94 year old grandmother are trying to teach me... dang, so much to learn.

There are lots and lots of tricks out there for doing most anything...

Here is one thing my grandfather said to me that I will never forget... you never know how to do ANYTHING, till you know how to do it MORE than one way...

Well that and to be a "real" boy/man, you must ALWAYS carry a pocket knife with you (the WHOLE story is a bit more humiliating; I was about 5 or 6); be prepared... after he said that, I always carried at least one... unless I was going through a security checkpoint since the $ hit the fan :-\
