Re: Just curious, has anyone BEATEN candida??
I am curious as well. I have a case lasting 5 years now but has only gotten bad the past year and a half. I have only just recently figured out that this was the cause of the huge list of symptoms I have. Ive been on a strict candida diet for t...
Nah, you aren't doomed.
I thought so too at first, but it's not true. At one time I was also a blue belt in juijitsu, did thai boxing, ran a half marathon. How depressing is it when it's all taken away?
Anyway, I'm now candida free and life is getting back to normal again, started exercising again (now that my liver can handle some).
My protocol is floating around on various pages here, but I'll just make a few points. Search for some of my posts and you'll see it.
Depression: Get out of the house, get some sunlight, walk or run for 1 hour, you need the fresh air. If you can't get some sunlight, do a little time in a tanning bed, it really helps with depression. If you can't leave your house, open the windows (even in the cold) once in a while.
Supplements: I think you are oversupplementing. Not only is expensive but did you know that there are harmful toxins in some supplements? See
Hulda Clark "
The Cure For All Diseases ", it's one of the best books you'll ever read.
Diet: The biggest factor. Many people think they have a "good" diet. It's hard to know what to do, so much conflicting information. I found a "raw fruit diet" is the most effective thing for me, but it might not be good for everyone. Then again I take almost no supplements now and just turned my health around 180 degrees. If you can't do it a MEVY (meat, eggs, vegetables, bio-K) diet is good.
Bad Diet: No milk products unless you scald the milk first (even so avoid), no pop/soda/shit that
Aspartame will ruin your mind, avoid all bread products, processed foods. Hate to say it, but alcohol (esp beer) is really bad. Of course you can cheat every once in a while, but it really depends on what you want and your condition.
Probiotics: Do you realize with most probiotics only 10%-20% make it into your bowels and that even less have active cultures? If I were you I'd take either Threelac or Bio-K, both are highly effective and are coated so they make it through the stomach.
Anti-fungal: Several anti-fungals work. For me, I found that nilstat (nystatin) worked for 8 years and got me out of the hole that was my life, it also allowed me to eat fairly normally and have some junk from time to time. Threelac is also effective. There are also various herbal anti-candida cleanses that are "ok".
parasite Cleanse: Important
Liver Cleanse: Important
+ more. What you really have to do is get to the bottom of the candida problem.
I'd start with the anti-fungals, diet, and
Depression first and then start healing the rest of your body.
And keep reading! Life gets better. Last year I was hunched over with liver pain and couldn't exercise, this year I'm doing a 1/2 marathon again. Just keep reading.

Good luck, keep us posted. The trouble is most people who get better leave here and never come back to help others.
