Okay, so where does the juice fast fit in with all this. Juice contains sugar. So i'm on the lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne at the moment, so i won't get into proper ketosis? People get good results though. Would you say the juice is more of a calorie reduction diet than a fast. On another forum, one person was advocating drinking tea and coffee and eating some and still calling it a fast. Put them straight on that. This was strictly for weight loss though, don't think they were overly concerned about the health implications.
After doing this and maybe half fast water, i will do 24hr fast, one day a week. I plan to drink herbal teas on that, and you wouldn't get to go into ketosis anyway, so that is more of a rest for digestion and calorie reduction, so that wouldn't matter so much, would it????
