Re: Day One Completed o/t

Well that certainly makes things easier for me. It must be better than bottled juice.

I've been eating raw all day, an experiment really. I had fruit for breakfast, if i had my almond milk ready i would have had a smoothie.

I've just put some cabbage, couple small raw beets(never had raw before) and 2 large carrots and put it in food processor and put lemon juice over. It made loads. I was full really quickly and had to put rest in fridge for later. would that be better kept at room temp to multiply the enzymes?

I think if having lots of veg, it is better to juice, it goes down easier. I need to get a good raw food book, to get idea of qantities to eat etc. I don't want a stomach upset so will take it easy on the raw for rest of day. I know what you say about cooked food, veggies etc, but i think the main thing is not to eat junk, and have as much raw as possible. Even if i cook veg, i normally steam, or stirfry so don't overcook anyway.
I am losing weight already, just by being more conscious of what i eat, so even if i never do a long fast, i hopefully will improve my health over time.
