I actually got around to making my own almond milk this morning. It is ridiculously expensive in the shops, and the one i bought last week had grain Sugar in.
I didn't soak, just blended a cup of raw almonds with 31/2 cups of water and then strained.
I prefer it to the shop one, not so rich. Anyway, i have frozen the pulp as suggested by Bragg. Any suggestions on how to use it. I thought maybe in baking, but since i've had weevils i won't buy any flour.
I just think i've finally got rid of them, when i find one or two, even though cupboard is now empty and there is nothing for them to eat.
Anyone got any ideas to make sure i've got rid of them completely.
