Re: Day One Completed
I bid on a champion on ebay a few weeks ago, didn't get it though. Yes, that or the Green Star??
I didn't realise it was that easy to clean. If it works the same as the Green Star you don't get any heat, so the juices will keep in the fridge, without bottling or chilling everything first. I have to prove to my husband i will use this one first before he would buy a more expensive one, thinks it is just a whim. lol. I have a cyclone.
Yes my book did suggest thermos, but doesn't hold that much, i suppose it depends how much you want to drink. I suppose if you can keep on counter in thermos, it would be worth buying a few, i don't think they are that expensive, saves space in fridge. I think you chill the thermos first.
It also says you can use broths from healthfood store, so don't even have to make your own. Probably a cube.
I think i will make juice for the day and hope for the best. Did you strain yours after
juicing to make sure no pulp? It is a good transition diet, as you get nutrition and taste, but still get over the hunger pangs as you said. It builds up the potassium as well.
I'll leave it now until after the Easter hols. There will be no chocolate for me though, i gave up months ago and don't even miss it now, and don't want to get the taste for it again. It is everywhere this time of year.
I'm just waiting for a clear month free of not having to do anything, but there is always something. I thought April would be free, but not sure now.
On the juicefast, do you use proper toothpaste, i'm thinking of the fruit/veg sugars.
I'd like to do a week on juice and a couple on water. I suppose if the water gets to tough, you could go back on the juice for awhile. I might start next week, as energy would be okay on juice.
Anyway good luck with the water fast. Just realized you have same avatar (photo)
