Dry fasting is not drinking any water while fasting. I see it as being exactly the same as Water Fasting in principle, as while fasting on water only we should only drink according to thirst. And similarly to hunger, thirst can also be a matter of habit as much as it is need. The body can go for many days comfortably without water, breaking down it's own fat cells and using the water in them to hydrate itself. Fasting this way is a more 'complete' fast as the body is truly regulating everything it needs from it's own stores. All energy, vitamins, minerals and water are fully provided for and regulated by the body while dry fasting. The result is a more efficient fast but the downside is that the detox symptoms can also be stronger.
