Have you ever looked into the
Blood Type Diet ? Maybe you're metabolism requires a different diet than what you've described, but you are, like most of us, addicted to
your present model of consumption (healthy though it may seem.) Essentially type Os require more animal fats and fewer fruits and no wheat or dairy, A types are better suited to vegetarian diets and no dairy, B types are capable of mixed diets, can't remember AB requirements. Have you tried making green smoothies?
There's also an interesting book titled "Body Ecology Diet" you might want to look at, if you don't know about it already. There is a website of the same name.
Sounds like you're a very disciplined person-- doing 40 days seems completely undoable to me (I'm just winding down from my first clease, at a mere 18 in comparision!) If you can go on a juice fast as long as you've described, you definitely have it in you to transition to the diet you suspect may be best for you.
Everyone here is involved in their own personal journey towards health, recovery and well-being. It may seem like an endless trip at times, but eventually, we have to arrive! That's the best way to look at it!
