Day 16 today; candida & psoriasis flareups...

Well, I've made it to day 16 on my first MC, and have noted some interesting changes concerning my Psoriasis condition. In the first 12 days or so of this cleanse, the Psoriasis spots seemed to be fading (scalp, random small patches on torso and legs, groin) and I was quite excited that The Master Cleanse was helping me eradicate this condition, which has plagued me for 17 years since the age of 18. Then, a few days ago, the redness started coming back, and as of last night the old itch, which had gone away (I've used no medications during this cleansing period) came back. Yes-- the redness has returned, along with flaking. Curiously, my throat became quite sore last night after my laxative tea (I also had some Pau D'Arco tea for candida as well) and still is this moring.

So-- I'm now thinking the Psoriasis may be an indication of Candida, which has been growing in strength with all of this maple syrup going down the ole' gullet. Strangely, I did the "spit" test this morning and am seeing almost none of the ropey, sinewy strands in my saliva that supposedly indicate a presence of candida, whereas 4 months ago it was all throughout the water. Dare I hope that the sudden return of redness and flaking is a result of a rapid die-off (even though I'm getting lots of Sugar from the maple syrup) and may indicate a release of stored up toxins through my body's favorite exit points??? Any insights, anyone? Thanks!
