3 day fast

Thinking about doing a 3 day fast over the weekend. This is to put my mind at rest, that i can go into ketosis and feel okay. I still have the thought in my head, about how strange i felt, when i last tried. So this is to banish my fear. I was alone that day i felt weird, so i thought if i do this over the weekend, i will have support. When i'm ready to do longer one, i'll hopefully feel more relaxed about it.

At the moment i just feel yuk, for some reason. I'm fed up with this constant phlegm, especially night and morning, that i have had for years. I want to kick start, no wheat, no dairy, next week as well, again!!

I tried sprouted wheat bread, and i thought that was disgusting. Tesco are doing a 'free from'range now, so will try to find a good alternative. I think i've tried all the milk alternatives, but end up going back to milk, so must find something i can stick with.

The weekend is hectic, so will have less time to think about food. My husband is getttig fed up with me talking about fasting all the time lol. He says just get on and do it. Although as i said i can't commit to long fast yet, because of committments. His eyes just glaze over now, and doesn't listen. Mine do that when he talks about stuff i'm not that interested in. lol. Well he is a bit interested, wants to see what happens when i do the fast. And he did say once he might do one with me some time.

Has anyone else carried on as usual, appointments etc, having to talk to people up close, whilst fasting, as i might carry on regardless, depending on how i feel. Do i really care if i get labelled 'smelly breath' behind my back. lol. Small price to pay for feeling healthy and vibrant.

I'm actually going to start this evening, after my evening meal.

Do you feel more relaxed on a fast? I just wondered as ketosis is similar to sleep state, is that right!
