Re: Hodgkin's Lymphoma (another Fonty Gremlin Post)
Yes, that happened to me earlier. Furhman fasted for 60 odd days under Shelton. He had some sports injury, that the doctors wanted to operate on, and his father had fasted before, so that is why he tried it,and it worked, no surgery.
In his book, he says no to saunas. So that is interesting what you said about the sweat box.
Being an MD, i reckon part of him was too frightened to fast anyone for to long, but he did say there were exceptions, where he fasted people for longer. Most people he fasted for 3 weeks, and he says if of normal weight no longer than 2 weeks. I think his medical training made him more cautious.
I have ordered Bragg's book. It is interesting to read the different view points, and then ultimately, i will make up my own mind, but you get sort of influenced whilst reading a certain book.
Have you or Chris ever thought about writing a book. I do find Shelton, hard to read for some reason. Things are also different now, then in his day. So a more up to date version would be good.
