I would love to learn that soy was okay for us hypos, and know if it definately was the trigger in my case.
I used to love soya milk in porridge, much better that oat or nut milks. Maybe it was the menopause and not the soya, who knows for sure.
Yes there is so much contradictory advice out there, one forum i go on, says eat loads of meat and protein, the book i'm reading, says to much protein shortens life and causes osteoporosis. It makes my head spin; one person said, vegetarians don't hold their chiro adjustments and die early, and other sources say they live longer blah blah blah lol. I don't eat much meat anyway, and if i make sure it is organic, etc then i will probably continue.
So you have done waterfasts before, and that didn't help the hypo problem in your case??
