Hi White Tiger, I hope you are still a member because it seems like you are extremely educated and have lots of resources that would help some of us. I just wanted to comment on this response because I have a similar problem. I had a restraining order on my ex-boyfriend. He even lived in the NYC area and I lived in Seattle. He traveled all the way across the country and he found out where I worked from my previous job known to him. He waited in the parking lot of my new job and kidnapped me, took me to a Motel and raped me. I know that restraining orders SHOULD keep people away from you that might hurt you but I know with a person as crazy as the poor woman in this situation, and myself, you have to treat it like it means nothing. Because to them that's exactly what it means. After he raped me in 2004 and served only a one year sentence, he got out and came to my house where he should have never known where I lived but his lawyer let him see a copy of the case file and that is how he got our address. He wrote a letter describing things inside our house the cars we drove. He was actually watching us and it scared us so much we moved out of the state. I don't know where he is and if he would ever try to hurt me again. Last I heard he was in jail because of failure to register as a sex offender. I get so worried that one day he show up out of nowhere like he did before. Do you have advise?
