If you have serious leaky gut--ie pain in the intestinal area, lots of gas, diarrhea--you will quickly discover that a raw diet is not made for you.
Leaky gut means very inflamed, very raw intestinal walls, due to infection and perforation by candida, plus possible parasites and other infectious agents.
All the fiber in the raw diet will increase the irritation and aggravate your intestinal symptoms--more gas, more pain, more diarrhea.
of course, if your leaky gut is very very mild to non-existent, disregard this caveat.
But again,when you have leaky gut, you KNOW it--it hurts! The pain might be dull or sharp, but there is pain, bloating,intestinal problems, etc.
