I assume that you are female by your moniker, in which case you really ought to get some Lugol's or Iodoral:

Please review our FAQ's on salt-loading & C, bromides, etc. The nightmarish dreams come when one is detoxing bromides or fluoride, at least that's been the experience reported here...& it was for me! Disgusting dreams always preceeded physical detox, either zits or flu-ey symptoms.

The insomnia will pass as your body re-calibrates:)

If you are aiming to achieve sufficiency, I would suggest starting at a low dose, a drop or two a day and elevating dosage slowly. That way you can manage your detox...iodine supplementation can put the bod through quite a workout.
