Due to some probs I cannot buy an IT right away. I invert, by doing back bends on a huge exercise ball. I also invert from my high bed. ( Only the upper part of my body is inverted)Inversion does help in shaking off colds and flus and alleviates headaches.
I do a lot of yoga poses which are inversions, but I cannot do a headstand. I tried it once and it hurt my neck, so I am more interested in buying a IT.
Till then, I shall use exercise ball and my high bed.
Any exercise, in which the head is lower than heart is inversion.
My eventual plan is to buy a IT and do inverted sit ups. I want flat abs. I guess who does not want those flat abs...lol
