I was born by mistake....

Try growing up knowing that you were born by mistake (or do you insist on only caring about yourself?). Many/most children of divorced parents grow up with depression, not just into adulthood, but late adulthood and even beyond.

Children establish their identity by first having a stable home and parents that love each other and were meant for each other. Even in a 'dysfunctional' family (unstable home), the child develops insecurities seeing that the parents fight, divorce/separation is only the final 'nail in the coffin'.

I grew up with 51 years of suicidal Depression because of a dysfunctional family (alot more serious to the child than most people think). If 'MARRIAGE PARTNERS' insist on divorcing, that's their decision, but once they become PARENTS, it's another issue. The fact that my parents separated when I was 15 and later divorced ensured me that my insecurities were not misguided/misplaced.

I grew up in a constant daze and thought 'life' had nothing to do with me and I had nothing to do with it. It was like growing up in the twilight zone (serious identity crisis). I realize that what I'm saying is 'uncomfortable' to many people (because it doesn't exonerate parents or anyone in society from irresponsibility), therefore, it will likely be recieved harshly by most (little do I care about those who only think of themselves). If you'd rather just simply "divorce" in order to escape a situation that is not a constant 'hell'/utter chaos that is life threatening to you and your children, and simply want to escape a situation that is INCONVENIENT and temporarily uncomfortable, then don't be confident that your children will cry at your funeral (of course, if they commit suicide before you die, it is a moot point). My brother's suicide note was addressed to my mother and it was my father's birthday.

Maybe repairing the relationship is not such a bad idea, huh?

(where do I such crazy ideas, opinions, and attitudes, LIFE, I lived them, thank you PARENTS and
'GOOD' people).
