Re: herbs or supplements to help curb marijuana cravings
There are of course physical addictions...
There are also mental and emotional pieces of addictions/compulsions... Herbs may not help with this aspect unless the herbs actually affect and alter (fix?) brain chemistry through proper nutrition. If one uses nutritional teas like nettles and cleavers, possibly calcium balance, etc., these may help.
Then there is the ritualistic part of addictions... along with the social aspect. No amount of nutritional balance will eliminate this part if one does not want to let it go. For many, especially with marijuana, as with cigarettes, this can be the toughest piece of the "addiction" to overcome; more often than not, it requires a complete disassociation from the friends who participate in the ritual with you.
At minimum, when around these people, the ritual would have to be declared off limits.
Moving out of a deeply rooted, ritualistic, and established social circle, is unacceptable to many, and the ritualistic/social piece of the addiction continues.
