I agree w/ all you've stated here. Did you get the CT scan done in the ER like your doctor requested? If not, then I'd be concerned. If you did, then they would have been able to see a protruding bowel, I believe. Go to your next appointment in a week and if it's not significantly better, then INSIST on more testing. Also, if you develop a fever or if the pain gets worse, go back to the ER. Good luck to you hon.
