All of this started for me seven years ago when I decided to take a yoga class. In a million years I wouldn't have dreamed that I would be doing all of this stuff.
Through my yoga teacher and holistic practitioner I discovered the neti pot. It is an ayurvedic practice that can reduce sinus congestion from allergies. Basically you have this special little "tea" pot in which you mix a bit of
Sea Salt and baking soda and warm water. This is then poured through one nostral and out the other or out your mouth. I know, I know, sounds gross, but then so does swishing oil in your mouth for 20 minutes:) I am totally addicted to it and it attribute it to not needing to use an inhauler any more.
Kriyas are a cleansing practice that purify the body. It is a series of moves that exercise your internal oagans. Done first thing in the morning on an empty bladder and stomach, they really help get things moving, if you know what I mean.

By the way, I only have to get up at 6:30 a.m. to get the l-o-o-ong morning routine done. Of course it helps to be self employeed and not have to be to the "office" until 10:30. Please don't hate me, I had to wait until my kids were grown up and out the door to find all of this time for myself;) I would have had to be up at 4:00 like Silver Fox, other wise, and I am not that much of a morning person - ha,ha.
