Re: Uptight at the western doctor's, Perfect at the acupuncturists
well pinkcat i did actually get through a bp reading at the docs. what i did was consume a couple of CUCUMBER sandwiches (anti-oxident). my reading was 'normal' but there lay a problem.
was i subjecting myself to the 'wrong treatment? by falsifying my readings?
i also realized that if i gave high readings due to 'white coat syndrome' would i once again subject myself to 'wrong treatment' due to 'false readings' from the surgery?
due to that problem i was given a 'twenty four monitoring' contraction where i wore this cursed thing to monitor my BP over a 24 hr. period, now that was an experience.
once every hour this 'contraption' took my BP, unfortunately in my 'awake time' i would suddenly get this thing start up (which frightened the crap out of me) lol, obviously raising my BP, not giving the correct info. as a second earlier i was relaxed and most likely my BP was normal, what a joke?
the only time it worked correctly was in my 'sleeping hours' but again sleeping with the contraption was not the ideal thing to do, so the results of that was not precise, all in all i felt it failed to give the correct info. it was set out to do.
so pinkcat my answer to you is about half an hour or so before having your BP taken at the GPs consume an anti-oxident,(cucumber in my case) and see how it goes?
i was informed once by one of my friends on Curezone (been there done that) to try EFT, perhaps you might look into that idea, tomi.
