Re:Sunflowers-Sunnies and in shell.

Hello Archus nuts are more like a soak than an actual sprout. The hulled sunflowers just have to be raw,but the best type are baby black oil sunflower seeds. They shed there hulls quickest which makes for easier prep.Sunflower seeds float unlike most seed and the bad seeds will sink to the bottom of your soaking container.I skim the 12hr. soaked seeds off the top and discard the seeds that sink. Also look for broken seeds before soaking along with debris this will keep the decay and mold issues down.I use an empty flat with some wieght on it for the first 3-5 days. This helps with uniform growth and the sunflower sprouts will push the wieghted flat up.Michael at hippocratesgreenhouse.com taught me this and it helped my tangling issues I was having.Raw for a little over a month congrats on your raw journey and may you be blessed with vibrant health.Jeff.
