Yes, i'm the same. I've seen advice, to start with one day, then do a 3 day, then do a 5 day, and build up to longer fasts.
Next week i'm going do one day, and if i can continue i will, if not i won't worry about it.
I think if you say, i'm doing 10, 14, 20 days whatever, it puts to much pressure on yourself to succeed, and it seems such a long time, when you actually start it, you're setting yourself up for failure, that is what i think anyway.
So a couple of days for me, would be a great success at the moment. I'm concentrating on healthy eating and cutting down on caffiene at the moment.
