Actually, I can't say I disagree with you about living here. The FDA, alone, much less the current utterly clue-less administration is enough to have me shimmying under the barbed wire at the Canadian border.
I was born Canadian and have actually been looking a bit into what it might take for me to move back up there. I'm living in as close to a utopic environment as one can here in the States, but who knows how long the economy and US dollar will last? To watch the Feds toggle interest rates and formuate relief packages in an effort to inject life into the US economy is somewhat reminiscent of watching "Weekend At Bernie's".
There is certainly no perfect place anywhere, but I prefer the mentality and political, as well as social climate of B.C. Plus, it's drop dead gorgeous.
