Re: New to oil pulling - time and effects....Me too!

I came here this morning to ask this very question! I heard about OP on another forum, and an internet search for more info landed me at this Curezone forum where I read all about it. So, I bought some sesame oil and tried it last Thursday, but had to stop after 3-4 minutes when I realized my cramps (menstrual) were coming on strong, and I needed to take some pills. About an hour later, I was felt so nauseated (along with crampy--pills didn't take effect in time) that I threw up (big deal to me since I've made it to my 40's having only thrown up about a dozen times in my memory). I didn't totally blame the OP for it because of the circumstances, though, but held off OPing over the weekend (didn't want to explain this weird thing to hubby!). So, did it for only 5 minutes this morning (am cautious after last event), and I feel nauseated again. Could it be the increased bile flow? I'm not going to totally give up on it, but am going to switch to sunflower oil when I can get come later this week--don't like the taste of the sesame (can't imagine 20 minutes of this!...but then I'm a weinie).

I'm trying to see if it'll help my chronic post nasal drop which seems to have more to do with my mouth than sinuses.
