I loved that post - what are your thoughts about using this technique when faced with a desire when there is a large gap between ones feeling and ones desire?
I understand he says that those negative thoughts are always there in the back of your head anyway if you are dealing with such a topic where you find yourself feeling upstream, when there is a big gap in alignment. So focusing on one emotion each day, starting where you are right now, for example "worry", regarding a particular issue, enabling you to climb up the scale, sounds great.
Still, isnt there a chance to make things worse by REALLY focusing and giving into a negative feeling?
I have one issue that due to the long history and importance, I cant get myself to just feel good about and assured all will turn out well. I feel as if I am putting band aids on, putting on a smiley face, just like this guy said. I wonder if this is the kind of process I NEED to get me into alignment with my desire in this particular subject.
My concern is, wont there be a chance of sabotaging it by focusing negatively until I get to the top of the scale?
