I'm told by my acupuncturist that by starting at about 3 or 4 minutes, then building up to 10 minutes per day and breaking a sweat will clear the lymph glands. It doesn't have to be too energetic. What's important is doing it. That way you oxygenate your body, get the blood flowing, etc.
My partner and I each do it for ten minutes every morning, following the instructions in the booklet. There's a technique. Too hard and your joints will start aching. Land wrongly too often and bones in your feet start to hurt. Land on the springs and don't rebalance fast enough, and you fall off and hit an armoire headfirst. At least, that's what happened to me the first time I tried it. I'm okay at it now, though, and, although I don't like exercise much, I do enjoy my tie on the rebounder. It's a good place to do oil-pulling or to chant affirmations or statements of gratitude as you jump.
