Possible for sesame oil to go off

Hi everyone

I started to use sesame oil recently (cold compressed, unrefined) and everything was going well until a few days ago - I noticed that there seemed to be some 'white, gritty stuff/ forming in the oil - continued to use it, however today, there was so much of this stuff I could hardly get the oil out of the bottle!

Is it possible for the oil to 'go off'? Is there a special way of storing the oil - I have been keeping it in the refridgerator.

Any assistance welcome!
