Re: High Cholesterol

Everything in your blood has a range: if your thyroid hormone, insulin, sugar, potassium,, biluribin, just to mention a few is either too high or too low, you will not feel right. The first time I checked my cholesterol was 25 years ago and it was 305 and has been close to 300 ever since and have zero plaque according to my carotid and heart scan that the doctors made me do. My blood pressure is 110/65. The thing is, high cholesterol doesn't cause any symptoms like the other substances in your blood. If your cholesterol is 150, you're fine. But if it's 220 (which is only 50% higher than 150) then you got a problem and should take statins? As a comparison, biluribin has a range 0f .2-1.5, iron 40-190, lymphocytes 850-3900. The high range for these is up to 7 times higher than the lower range. Other blood substances have very tight ranges, like the ph,calcium serum, protein. As long as a substance is within the range, you have no symptoms or health problems. Since, people have no symptoms with a cholesterol of 350 and people with a cholesterol of 150 get heart disease too, maybe all the fuss about lowering your cholesterol is about selling drugs to the tune of 27 billion a year.
