Re: water fasting advice - how do you stick to your fast?
Sorry I have to disagree with you in all respects. Maybe that will label me as an occultist in your mind, that hardly bothers me either though as I don't find the thought at all disturbing.
Whatever religion C.S. Lewis followed at his death he was most certainly a christian when he wrote the Chronicles. And in calling his writings occultist is debunking the works of a man who was a good christian so I don't see that as either being faithful to the truth or being very christian yourself. The fact that some occultists also use the Chronicles and other books such as Harry Potter as part of their teachings or reccommended reading lists also means very little. The bible itself has been used and abused over the centuries and uncountable injustices have been committed in it's name. I don't believe you would take any of them as evidence that the bible itself is evil though.
And as for fasting being a gift from god. Thanks for your opinion but no thanks. It is a physical process common to all, or at least the greater majority of animal life on this planet. I don't mean to insult your beliefs at all, that would be a pointless exercise anyway. You have insulted many good men in your posts however, men who can certainly not defend themselves against such attacks and I have responded with my own personal opinion in as polite a manner as I could.
Andrew.
