Re: Day Three

Unfortunately it is a fairly normal symptom of fasting during detox. I also got it in my first few fasts late last year. I felt much better finding out on here that it was normal and that it was okay to let it come up. The fact is that when bile and other crap enters the stomach from other organs during a fast it only has two ways to go- and the mouth is the closest exit! The natural urge to vomit often- but not always- can signal an end to the discomfort, as if the body just needs to get rid of it at the end of the process. It also followed me over a few fasts but ended up not being part of my fasts after a while. I believe it was from my addiction to various types of soft drinks, possibly the diet versions, they were one thing I didn't touch when I did my 30 day fast many years before that without any of those symptoms at all.

Andrew.
