Dave, I'm doing alot of reading on raw foodism presently.  Dark leafy greens offer high magnesium and iron, both of which are low in fruits.  Calcium that is in fruit needs magnesium in proper perportion in order to assimilate ... potasium needs iron.  So, it looks to me like we need the leafy greens.

Also, I am reading that the greens are a buffer to the glyconutrients in the fruit and cause them to be used at a slower rate.

This makes me wonder if dark leafy greens aren't a part of the "herbs" mentioned in the bible.

I don't eat much in the way of veggies or unsweet fruit like tomoatoes, cucumbers, etc.
